Da sich die Wahl des amerikanischen Präsidenten ja durch die weitestgehende Abwesenheit von Politik auszeichnet sollte man sich von der jeweiligen Person auch keine überragende politische Leistung erwarten.

Das kann man so nicht sagen. Alles, und auch wirklich ALLES, wird politisiert, die Entscheidungen werden aber nicht durch logische Erwaegungen gemacht, sondern ob es in die Linie der Partei passt. So oder so kotzt es mich an und ich schalte immer schnell um wenn es im TV um US-Politik geht.
